Set down at Guangzhou before continuing journey onto Beijing. On arrival, your guide will greet you and organise the transfer to accommodation. In the afternoon tour to tranquil Purple Mountain to visit the Sun Yatsen Mausoleum, resting place for the pioneer hero (1886 – 1925) of the Chinese revolution in 1911, visit Linggu Temple Park and Linggu Pagoda. On arrival transfer to a Dragon Boat cruise of the famous Suzhou canals. In the afternoon stroll through the beautiful Humble Administrators Garden and visit the Silk and Embroidery Institute. In the evening depart Suzhou and journey 100kms onto Shanghai. Transfer to accommodation. In the morning visit the Jade Buddha Temple and Yuyuan Gardens, the old city quarters of Shanghai.
